The Parish was established on Febru by The Most Reverend Charles F. Buddy, Bishop of San Diego, to serve the Catholic communities of Encinitas, Cardiff, Leucadia, and Olivenhain. The First Pastor was Rev. Patrick H. Linneman whose mission was to gather the faithful, acquire land, and build a fitting house of worship. Our History. St John the Evangelist's Church is in the village of Sandiway, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church of Sandiway and Cuddington  in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Middlewich.
